Thanksgiving Dinner

On October 11th, 2014 we had our Thanksgiving dinner. We couldn't do it in school and the buses were on lockout still so we had quite abit of fun brain storming trying to figure out a way to make this event happen. Thank you to Tim and Hannah for allowing us to have this event at your house. You have no idea how thankful we are for that :)

The MASA committee members were at Tim and Hannah's house at 1pm to start cooking, and we were only done at 7pm which was when everyone showed up. No worries, no one chopped their fingers in the process of cooking all of this. We had a huge turkey, stuffing, fried rice, mashed potatoes salad, ham, homemade pumpkin cupcakes and other stuff !

A group picture of the attendees as per usual.

and a "freestyle" picture because we're MASA and there's lots of awesome food in front of us.

Hopefully everyone had fun and the food was good. Thank you again to Tim and Hannah for letting us host an event at your house.

Also, thank you to those who volunteered to drive us to and fro. Thank you Steve, Wei Xin, Pam and Dan for being so so kind. The event wouldn't have been able to happen if it weren't for all of you.

Till the next event then ! :)

Contact Singapore Info and Networking Session

On October 6th, 2014 , we had a info and networking session organized by MASA and  Contact Singapore. The event was organized to provide information about working in Singapore after graduating and was open to everyone.

The girl in purple is our very own president, Christine and the lady in red is Kelly, the one who worked for Contact Singapore. We gave her a small thank you gift for coming here and having this session with us.

Tanglung Walk

On September 20th, 2014 we had our annual Tanglung Walk. This time we had it on campus because the weather was still pretty cold and the buses were on lockout. We provided them with some hot dogs in case anyone was hungry and had mooncakes as well because what's a Mooncake Festival without mooncakes right  ;D

After eating, we took a walk around The Bowl with our pretty lanterns all lit up.

This time around we didn't forget to take group pictures !

For the event, we also had a riddle game and the winner was Beata !!

All those who attended :)

While people were leaving. Wei Xin and Roy decided to do the marshmallow challenge in which you stuff as many marshmallows as you can into your mouth.

It was an overall awesome event. Thank you for showing up and special thanks to the drivers to gave everyone a ride home because the buses were on strike !

MASA Welcome Back BBQ

On September 13th, 2014 we had our very first event organized by the 2014-2015 committee ! The weather was not too great and was very windy and cold so we had to move everyone to the Education Student Lounge while us committee members took turns to BBQ outside. We had chicken, sausages, salad, fried rice and some other yummy stuff.
Sadly there are no pictures, we were too busy and it slipped out minds.
It was a really successful event despite the weather, thank you to everyone who showed up :)
